Nokia and Samsung are the established leading brands and require no introduction. The N97 is the latest crush of the young while the Tocco is also admired by a wide range of people. Both are just phones that win hearts and do not have any negative aspects.
Nokia N97 and Samsung Lite both support Quad Band technology and work on GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 frequencies.
The Nokia N97 has a 5.0 megapixel camera which is considered to be a very good quality camera while the Tocco Lite comes embedded with a 3.0 megapixel camera which is not bad either. The N97 includes features such as Carl Zeiss Optics, Auto Focus, Dual LED Flash, Video Player, Video Recorder, Video Light, Video Settings, Video Streamer, Video Calling, TV-Out, Second VGA Camera and Flash Lite 3. The Tocco Lite too it has features like Flash, Smile Detection, Auto Focus and Video Player.
The weight of the N97 is only 93.5 grams with dimensions of 117.2mm x 55.3mm x 88mm, while the Tocco Lite weighs 93.5 grams with dimensions of 104mm x 53mm x 11, 9mm. The N97’s 3.5-inch TFT resistive touchscreen offers a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels and supports 16 million colors. On the other hand, the 3.0-inch TFT resistive touch screen of the Samsung Lite has a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and supports 256K colors.
The Nokia N97 has an internal memory that comes with up to 32 GB of storage space and an expandable memory of up to 16 GB by using a microSD (TransFlash) memory card, while the Tocco Lite has an integrated memory of up to 50 MB which can also be expanded by using micro SD (TransFlash) memory card. Both phones have a standard lithium-ion battery. The N97 offers up to 9 hours of talk time and 432 hours of standby time. On the other hand, the Tocco Lite offers up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 340 hours of standby time.
The Tocco’s touch screen supports control screen lock which allows the user to lock their mobile phones and the functions are activated when they are not in use or, for example, in the pocket. Lovely N97 comes in elegant black and white colors while Tocco Lite comes in beautiful black color with slim body.
Comparing the Nokia N97 with the Samsung Tocco Lite, we found it hard to say whether the Nokia N97 is worth more than the Samsung or vice versa.
