o Their inner fur gives them adequate warmth, while their outer fur is sleeker and better water-repellent.

o Grooming for this type of dog is required only weekly.

o Exercise is the best thing for them since they are sports dogs, walking and jogging daily will help them a lot to maintain their physical condition, good health and happiness.

o They love to swim, play, run and are mostly active in recovery.

o Your life expectancy is 10 to 12 years; can be achieved if proper care is taken.

o They are also prone to common diseases such as hip dysplasia, allergies, congenital eye defects, and Willebrand disease, an inherited clotting abnormality caused by a deficiency of a multimeric protein. Such common illnesses can be prevented and treated once recognized, so frequent check-up is necessary.

o They are usually trained to compete in different renowned competitions such as AKC, UKC, FCI, CKC, SKC, WWKC and FIC. AKC among the rest is very well known for their numerous appearances which make them elegant and powerful.

o Some of the traits must be able to express confidence, enthusiasm and alertness.
