Where does body art come from?

The drawings were made on the body by dipping sharp bones into natural colored paint, thousands of years ago. These sharp bones pierced your skin leaving eternal patterns on your body. One of the oldest forms of self-expression of man is body art. Research indicates that tattooing is an 8,000-year-old practice. For some, being tattooed meant that you were a slave.

In some parts of the world, having body art was a sign of honor and prestige. For other countries, Thee marks are signs of beauty. An artistically covered body would gain respect in many different cultures.

Many people who get tattoos say that once they have the first one, they will soon want another one. This makes sense to me. There are many people who spend hours and hours in the gym pumping their muscles to perfect proportions. They want Theat to define a sculpted body, so why not use it for a permanent canvas? A talented tattoo artist can earn a good income by being in the right place, body art is becoming more and more popular. It’s not just a fad, the ‘up’ attitude that used to be associated with young people covered in tattoos doesn’t apply today.

Rising in popularity for today’s form of body art is body piercings. People use this form of body art as an act of self-expression and pierce many parts of their bodies. The ear is not the only place to put an earring or stud. It is common to see multiple studs on a young adult’s face today. Nose, lips, tongue, eyebrows, chin, navel, and nipples to name a few. Having body art leaves nothing to the imagination. Oh I almost forgot, you can even have a stud down there.

Make sure you really want the body art before you do it, although body art can look great and make people look twice, tattoos don’t come off as easily and holes can leave scars.
