PlayStation 2 video games were the bee’s knee before the arrival of the PlayStation 3 and the competitive Xbox 360. They are now a vastly underrated relic of gaming history, being pushed aside for the much more expensive games of PS3 and Xbox360. But who needs the extra graphics? Who needs modern games? Anyone who has known the joy of PlayStation 2 back in the day will easily play PS2 games and have as much fun as any newer console. So let’s take a look at some of the best PS2 games, so we can buy them at ridiculously cheap prices and beat modern game developers.

The Final Fantasy games are timeless, timeless, cult games, and anyone who was hooked on them at birth, or even later on newer consoles, will no doubt continue to enjoy them just as much on a PlayStation 2. The latest installment proper bliss. on PS2 it was Final Fantasy XII. It was a huge leap forward in graphics and gameplay, with nearly endless amounts of game time, and can be had for a meager price compared to the game time offered.

If you’re a football fan, you’ll know that the rules of the game don’t change that often. And, unsurprisingly, neither do the console versions of the game. Graphics can only go so far when a field is rendered from above, and controls are generally kept as-is. So even though new games are released every year, you’d be better off just sticking with a good old version of PlayStation 2. What’s the difference?

To find PlayStation 2 video games, you’d be better off looking on Amazon, but if you’re itching for a good deal, try bidding on Ebay as there are plenty of people looking to sell some of their old games and media.
