Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst’s book Top Secret Fat Loss Secrets: is it a scam or is it real?

The Top Secret Fat Loss Secret Scam by Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst

Well, by now you’ve probably heard a lot about this book and maybe even bought it. Why am I calling it a scam? you may ask, well… because i bought the e-book and although it contains true and valuable information, the information provided by Dr. Gudakunst is NOT a secret and has not been for a long time. In fact, ancient civilizations used their “top secret” to achieve good health.

All of her ads and her affiliates’ ads claim that she has received death threats and doctors all over the world want her dead for revealing these “secrets”. I guess the only people who want her dead are the ones who bought the book because she actually believed there was some hidden “thing” that was keeping them overweight.

She goes on and on about eating organic fruits and vegetables, Big secret right?

Stay away from all kinds of refined sugars and flours, heck, this is new right? How did you discover this one?

Then he talks about not combining certain (animal) proteins with carbohydrates like pasta, rice and bread, potatoes, etc. Another well-known fact for those of us who have ever read a nutrition book. Again, there is no secret here!

She advises the order in which you should eat your meals: fruit first, raw vegetables second, cooked or steamed vegetables third, and protein (any type of meat) last. Again, nothing new let alone secret here. It is obvious that we should eat everything that is digested easier and faster first, such as fruits and vegetables, and then the most difficult to digest foods.

And lastly, my so-called personal favorite secret, the one she claims has caused other doctors to threaten her life…to cleanse her colon and liver to remove any parasites or worms from her system. Come on, is she for real? How can she call that a secret? How is this a reason for the doctors to want her dead for letting him out of her? I have read about this in at least 3 books before, books with no affiliate program, so I am not promoting here, these books were actually about how to get rid of acne naturally.

Since colon cleansing is no secret AT ALL, there are thousands of products on the market for colon cleansing, search the web and you will see colon cleansing kits, pills, etc. Most of them (at least the ones I’ve researched) contain pretty much the same ingredients: psyllium husk fiber or oat bran fiber, milk thistle seed extract, cascara sagrada bark and senna leaf, black walnut husks , wormwood and cloves.

If that wasn’t enough, she then tells you, within the text of her eBook (even with a link) how you can buy the cleaning kits she created, which conveniently contain all those wonderful ingredients she mentions you need for cleaning.

If colon cleansing is so new and secret, why is the colon hydrotherapy business growing exponentially? How is it that Spa’s around the world already offer this service?

My point? The book contains valuable information, but nothing he wrote in it is secret. Drinking plenty of water, staying away from sugars and flours, eating fresh organic fruits and vegetables, exercising, having at least 4 meals a day, eating the right combinations of carbohydrates and proteins, and colon cleansing are well known health facts. and diet.

If you want to learn about nutrition and health in general, this is a good book for you. But, if you’re looking for a secret quick-fix diet with no exercise and some goodies, this isn’t for you, or just something you’ve never heard of that keeps you fat, this is NOT for you. Most of us are fat or gain weight for many different reasons including overeating, genetics, hormonal issues, and in some cases parasites, but not in most cases.

Again, everything you say is good information for anyone who cares about their health, not just someone who is overweight. Just don’t buy the whole “new me” in a month without great effort. Is not true.

While the most effective marketing is done primarily through people’s negative emotions, such as fear and weight-related issues, I strongly disagree with playing games with people and placing ads with phrases like: “it’s not your blame you for overeating”, “being fat has nothing to do with your willpower”. If you overeat, no matter what the reason for doing it…it’s your fault, and it has a lot to do with your willpower and the sooner you accept it and realize it, the sooner you’ll be on your way to losing weight. loss.

If you read other articles promoting or claiming that the book is the ultimate weight loss solution, chances are they are on their affiliate program and earn 75% of any sales they make, through their articles, PPC, or whatever. another form of publicity, so it’s not that the book has worked for them, they just want the juicy commission.
