The winning ticket for the Powerball lottery was sold in Middlebury, Vermont. The ticket was purchased at a short-stop convenience store. The winner’s name and address are not yet known, but the winning ticket is valued at $366 million. The prize is paid as a lump sum, or in 30 equal installments over the next 29 years. In addition, the winner can choose to take the cash option of $208.4 million.
In US Powerball draws, the Power Play(r) feature can increase winnings by up to $2 million. For a $1 additional fee, players can add this feature to their Powerball ticket.
