Bathsheba is the main destination for surfers. If you want to feel isolated, this is also the area to go to. In Bathsheba you can enjoy long walks along the shore. But you can also enjoy the mountains just behind the long stretch of coastline. At night you will also enjoy the atmosphere while feeling the peace and quiet with only the croaking frogs and the fireflies sharing your company during the night.

To explore the city, you must head to the only city in Barbados, Bridgetown. You can explore the neighborhoods and rum shops of the city. While you’re at it, you can also take a break for a snack and enjoy the coffees along the ConstituciĆ³n River. You can even do some shopping. Just head to Broad St. and you will never be disappointed. You can even enjoy the local culture on Swan St. too.

In central Barbados, tourism is the game. Whether you want to see the natural beauty of Barbados or take a historical trip around the area, this is the place to be. It would be a pleasure to explore the rolling hills. And the lush landscape can be impressive too.

Eastern Barbados is truly a surfer’s paradise. With the waters of the Atlantic and the strong winds blowing, the beautiful views are quite fun. However, the south coast is where development is happening. The long stretch from the airport to Bridgetown is proof of this. However, this is also where you will find most of the accommodations that range from cheap to mid-priced. Off the main road, you will also find the strip of Dover Beach and St. Lawrence Gap quite attractive. If you want some seclusion or surfing adventure, you can also go to the Silver Sands area.

Southeastern Barbados is also a bit quiet. But it is where you can find nice resorts and small towns scattered all over the place. You will also enjoy the beautiful beaches in this area as you would in other parts of Barbados.

The west coast is where the wealthy own vacation homes. However, most of the beaches are public. Development is happening here too, so you can expect the beaches to be hidden due to the structures being built in this area.

All things you can do in Barbados

As in the rest of the Caribbean islands, going to Barbados also means being surrounded by beaches. This is why people often go to Barbados to enjoy the white sand and unspoiled beaches.
