B Gata H Kei Review – An Ecchi Comedy Anime

B Gata H Kei, has a unique story. It focuses on our main protagonist, Yamada. She is the prettiest girl in her school, all the boys can’t help but fall in love with her. His dream is to have 100 sexual friends. It’s very strange, right? 15 years old and the only thing she can think about is sex.

History

The premise is quite simple. Yamada wants to get laid a hundred times but wants to start with a virgin, just like her. The point is that this premise is totally false with respect to what the program really intends to do. Considering that Yamada is really inexperienced at sex and all things dirty, she’s almost ready to jump into bed with the main male lead and “cherry boy” Kosuda. Instead, he focuses more on the romantic relationship between the two and his numerous efforts to get rid of the God-forsaken V card. Along with the fast-paced and hilarious comedy, it works perfectly. Let’s say if you love vulgar and vulgar comedy, you will love this. However, the finish really leaves a poor aftertaste in your mouth. There are many holes in the plot that leave you wondering. Virtually nothing is accomplished, and this consists of parallel stories.

Art

The art is very good. Yamada and others are very well drawn and cute, the background and landscape can be quite pretty. Kosuda surely matches the common male high school description, and this is refreshing compared to most normal anime men with six-packs or spiky blonde hair, etc. Boobs can be a little huge on this show, but it’s not disgusting or garbage due to its comedic factor.

Characters

I really like Yamada. Yamada is really interesting, and his “tsundere” side, despite being a cliché, can make the episodes really funny. But at times it can be completely annoying and tsundere, but it fits the overall theme of the show very well. Then we have Kosuda, the equally shy, but less aggressive. I like her character as even though Yamada is flirting with this guy like crazy, he still has the feeling of taking it pretty easy and caring for her like more than just a couple of walking boobies, which is usually a complete contrast to Yamada.

Sound

The show features many popular seiyuu like Yukari Tamura and Yui Horie as Yamada and Takeshita respectively, the sound is great and the voice acting is not forced or surprising or anything. The OP and ED are cute in my opinion, and will probably be cute for you too if you’re a Yukarin fan.

Overall, this show is certainly something that at least some people might enjoy. The entire show just screams hilarity, be it from Yamada’s random antics to the deity spewing dirty sexual humor. However, the ending was with so many holes in the plot. B Gata H Kei is not something to have at the top of your list, but if you want to turn off your brain and go crazy for quite some time, this can be a very good recommendation.
