The healing sound – The sound of the lung

Anyone who studies science or physics is probably familiar with the concept of Brownian motion. What is brownian movement? Brownian motion is the random motion of particles suspended in a liquid or gas or the mathematical model used to describe such random motion, often called particle theory.

The botanist Robert Brown is traditionally considered to have discovered Brownian motion in 1827. Brown is believed to have been studying pollen particles floating on water under a microscope. He then observed tiny particles within the vacuoles of the pollen grains executing a nervous movement.

However, it was Einstein in a paper presented in 1905 who first drew the attention of physicists to the solution. He presented it as a way to indirectly confirm the existence of atoms and molecules.

Einstein predicted that random motions of molecules in a liquid impacting on larger suspended particles would result in random, irregular motions of the particles, which could be directly observed under a microscope. The predicted motion corresponded precisely to the puzzling Brownian motion. From this move, Einstein precisely determined the dimensions of hypothetical molecules that were theorized to exist but had not yet been proven.

So what does this have to do with healing and sound? All. In Chinese medicine there are so many fantastic healing methods and one of these ancient healing methods is called “Six Healing Sounds” or “Secret of Six Syllables” among others.

What they found was that no matter what language a person spoke, when they had a particular disease, they all made the same sounds. Sounds like groans or moans, for example, that were the same or very similar depending on which organs were involved in the disease.

For example, if a person had a problem determined to be in the kidneys, they would often slouch, breathe shallowly, and make a distinctive “Woooooooo” sound. This was the case no matter what language they spoke. Since the lower back is the region of the body associated with the kidneys, this is also another simple visual sign that that person has a serious energetic imbalance in that particular organ. Chinese doctors use these visual cues and many others, such as sound, skin color and the appearance of the tongue, eyes, voice, the smell of a person’s skin, and many others to determine the location, severity and type of disease the person has.

This is similar to how everyone in the world makes the same “ha ha ha” sound when we laugh, regardless of what language we speak. Because humor generates a strong “E-emotional” response in the body and mind of a “fire” nature. E-motions are not just feelings but they are “Energy in Motion”.

Chi flows more strongly through the various meridians when you laugh. This fire energy needs to be expelled from the body and the body does this by making a “ha ha ha” sound. The heart is the body’s organ of fire and it happens that laughter is a sound of fire. The Ha sound is actually one of many sounds discovered to purge the heart of excess fire chi. That’s why we laugh when we find something funny.

Each of the five main vital organs (Yin) of the body, of which the heart is one, has its own characteristic sound associated with it. The five vital yin organs are the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and spleen. In fact, there is another sound that corresponds to all the organs and it is a sixth sound that completes the set. Each time we exhale while gently making one of these six sounds we are purging that organ system of excess fire energy. This has a strong calming and powerful cleansing effect on the organ which actually helps to detoxify and strengthen it.

These techniques and sounds alone are known to cure many serious illnesses. There was even a man who had terminal heart disease but laughed himself off by watching old reruns of “The Three Stooges” constantly. Continuous laughter purged excess fire chi from the heart and body, thus alleviating his heart disease by balancing the heart chi.

This may be true of any and all sounds associated with each of the five major yin organs. If there is any weakness or excess fire energy in these organs, making these sounds will help purge excess fire energy from the organ itself, as well as the related yang organ. Since most diseases in the west are diseases of excess fire energy due to stress, poor diet, chemical laden foods and overworking the body, this information can really be life changing and life saving.

There are also various movements and postures that accompany these sounds and breathing that can make them even more effective, but the sounds for each organ are a good way to start and begin to reap the great benefits of these techniques.

These sounds are also known as “vibration breathing” techniques. Since all matter vibrates at specific frequencies, we can take advantage of this by using these six sounds to purge the various organs of excess energy that is often the main cause of discomfort and even serious illness.

Sounds and vibrations are very powerful phenomena in nature and all around us. Whether in the form of electromagnetic waves, as wireless radio and television signals, or audible sounds, vibrations and resonance waves are everywhere and, in fact, fundamental to life itself.

Plants are known to grow bigger and healthier, cows give sweeter, more nutritious milk, and people often feel better when listening to soft, relaxing music rather than loud, loud, less rhythmic music. Since the earth’s magnetic field vibrates at a frequency between 6 and 8 hertz, and is in fact the very frequency of all life, it makes sense that music that is closer to this frequency of life would also be beneficial. , while other frequencies would be detrimental. .

This is the basis behind the six healing sounds that the Chinese discovered millennia ago and have been using ever since. They knew that by making these common sounds that sick people make, they could help purge the body of excess energy that was causing the illness. This, along with herbs, acupuncture, breathing, and other therapies, would speed up this purging process and increase immunity and restore harmony to the system.

The sound of the lung – Sound One

The first sound that we are going to cover is the sound of the lungs. The sound of the lungs is almost similar to that of a snake, but it has nothing to do with that creature.

To make the sound, start by taking a deep breath, then with a slow exhalation you make the sound.

“SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS” again similar to a snake while exhaling about 75% of the air in its lungs. As you inhale, visualize pure white energy with the quality of righteousness entering the lungs to revitalize them. Then exhale again while making the “SSSS” sound and repeat.

The sound does not need to be loud, and your exhalation should be smooth and calm. The lungs house the negative emotions of grief, sadness, and pain and the positive emotions of righteousness, surrender, letting go, emptiness, and courage.

Grief is a well-known association with the lungs. This is one of the reasons why people who are in tremendous pain often contract diseases associated with the lungs. Dana Reeve, wife of Superman actor Christopher Reeve, was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and died just 18 months after her husband. Superman actor Christopher Reeve died from injuries associated with his horse riding accident some ten years earlier. Although he had never smoked and was in generally good health, he still developed lung cancer. Her love and dedication to her husband are well known, so obviously the loss of him caused her tremendous grievance. This weakened the lung chi that protects that organ and left them vulnerable to cell mutations where cancer eventually developed.

Lung sound can also be used if you are very sleepy and tired as it will help purge stagnant lung chi from the system and help you stay awake if you are driving or anything else where you need to stay awake.

Practicing this sound in the morning can also help clear your mind and help you wake up faster. Eliminates the grogginess that is often present due to stagnant energy in the lungs from a night of shallow breathing while sleeping.

These sounds are very powerful additions that everyone can and should add to their health regimen. Making these sounds on a daily basis can go a long way toward keeping your organs healthy, including eliminating diseases, preventing them from coming back, and achieving longevity.

These sounds have many practical and everyday applications, like helping with indigestion, for example.

The sound of the spleen/stomach helps purge excess fire from the body that is produced during digestion and can help relieve or cure indigestion and acid reflux. There are sounds to cool your body in the summer, warm it up in the winter, and many other similar applications.

It is best not to practice these sounds more than six times in a row when doing the breathing method alone. More than six times can purge too much overall energy from the lungs or any other organs and can have the opposite effect.

If you have a lot of fire energy in your lungs, then you may notice your skin turning red, almost like you have a light sunburn. This is proof that the sound and the breath are indeed purging the body of the fire energy. If you have any existing serious lung conditions, do it gently maybe just two or three times, but of course always see your doctor first.

In the next article in this series we will review the second of “The Six Healing Sounds”, the kidney sound.
