Pick up and – oops! Spontaneous ejaculation during exercise

Wow! There’s nothing like a really good workout to make a man feel good. Sure, he may be feeling tired, but you’ve also gotten his blood flowing, his heart pumping, and his body much more fit. In some cases, however, there can be an embarrassing consequence of the exercise: spontaneous ejaculation or spurts of semen into gym shorts without consciously stimulating the penis. Spontaneous ejaculation is a fairly rare penile health problem, but that doesn’t make it any less awkward when a man tries to cover up a wet spot while rushing off the gym floor and rushing to the locker room.

Statistics are not really kept on how common spontaneous ejaculation is, but it seems to be quite rare. It is also rare for a person to have what might be called recurrent spontaneous ejaculation, that is, to accidentally release semen on many occasions or on a regular basis. In most cases, it seems like it is something that happens only once or very occasionally to a single person.

However, from anecdotal evidence, it appears that men who ejaculate spontaneously while exercising may be more likely to experience this on a recurring basis, not necessarily every time they exercise, but with some frequency.

Interestingly, spontaneous ejaculation is generally not associated with sexual arousal, and in fact often occurs without the penis being erect. But the orgasmic sensation is described as quite intense, with some men gasping or moaning when their penis suddenly erupts unexpectedly.

So what type of exercise is most commonly associated with spontaneous ejaculation? Basically, any exercise that places emphasis on the core (leading to this type of accidental release of semen being called “coregasm”).

Therefore, abdominal exercises are high on the list of possible causes of unplanned ejaculation. That includes planks in all their variations (side planks, 3-point planks, etc.), sit-ups and crunches, farmer’s walks, and barbell dips. It also appears that hanging leg raises, in which a man hangs from a bar and raises his legs until they’re parallel to the ground and lowers them back down (and repeats), may be especially conducive to spontaneous ejaculation.

Also, the deadlift, essentially lifting weights on a bar from a squat to an overhead position, can make visible release a bit more likely. (Again, it’s important to remember that even when it’s “most likely,” it’s still a rare occurrence.)

And there are some other activities that at first glance may seem less core intensive that still have a relationship to spontaneous ejaculation. These include cycling and rope climbing.

To do

There aren’t many options in terms of preventing spontaneous ejaculation. However, if it is a recurring problem for a man, you can try a few things. First, he must pay close attention to when it has occurred and determine what form of exercise has triggered it, and then try to find other similar exercises to do instead. It can also help to “drain” yourself just before you hit the gym: masturbate or have partnered sex so there’s less chance of another ejaculation.

Spontaneous ejaculation during exercise can be a pain, but it can also make a man more focused on maintaining proper penile care. This can be helped by the daily application of a superior penile health oil. (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil which is clinically proven to be gentle and safe for the skin). Look for an oil that contains a variety of vitamins, including A, B5, C, D, and E. The best oil will also contain a powerful antioxidant, such as alpha lipoic acid, which can improve penile health by fighting free radicals.
