The religion of Islam, being the complete code of life, strongly supports the concept of human welfare and urges a Muslim to reflect accordingly. Islam encourages its followers to contribute positively to their social makeup and not indulge in any harmful or harmful activities that are in any way threatening or obstructive. 1. The belief in one God unites all of society

Service to humanity is also included among the basic teachings of Islam. Regardless of the religious beliefs of others; Islam emphasizes that all Muslims must respect the human spirit. The Muslim society must respect the rights of each and every person. Islamic doctrine allows freedom to minorities also to practice their religious obligations without any fear. The rulers or the leaders of the Islamic state are obligated to do nothing but serve humanity as they will be accountable to the Supreme Court of Allah Almighty on the Day of Judgment with respect to their people. The life story of the great second Caliph of Islam Umar (Radi ALLAHU Anho) strongly signifies this point.
3. Equality and Justice
Islam does not discriminate people against each other. Islamic society is obliged to exercise complete equality. There should be no difference between rich and poor, black and white, except for piety, as the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) clearly stated in the Last Sermon. According to Islamic teachings, tribes are for identification purposes only. No one is superior to the other. Allah will treat everyone on the basis of justice, on the day of judgment, whether Muslim or non-Muslim.
“Beware! Anyone who is cruel and harsh to a non-Muslim minority, or restricts their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes something away from them against their free will, I (Prophet Muhammad) I will complain about the person on Judgment Day.” (Abu Dawood)
Justice is what differentiates Islamic society from other dynasties. Unfortunately, Muslim countries today are not exercising justice in the true spirit, but the true teachings of Islam emphasize the importance of justice. Caliph Umar (Radi ALLAHU Anho) is best known for the true implementation of justice. This is why most European brokers still follow the “Omar Laws”.
4. Man is the central figure of Islamic culture
Islamic teachings tell us about the importance of being human. Islam focuses on public welfare. The concept of Zakat, far above the current concept of taxes, was introduced to help the needy and the poor. There was a time during the reign of Caliph Umar (Radi ALLAHU Anho) when there was a vast majority of Zakat payers, and there were not enough needy or poor. This prosperity was achieved in a shorter period of time and was a remarkable achievement at the time.
5. Respect for Women
Islam, for the first time in human history, introduced inheritance rights for women. Islam has a high regard for respectful behavior towards women. It was a remarkable step towards the prosperity of women in society. Islam commands parents to stop burying their daughters alive. Islam prohibits forced marriage against the girl’s will. The ranks of a mother are so high that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave the glad tidings of Paradise under the feet of the mother.
The need of the moment is to restore these values in our societies. We keep talking about these important values, but it is of no use if we do not reflect them accordingly by implementing them in our lives as well. Islam is a practical religion and it teaches us how to live. We just need to follow the teachings through our actions.
