Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?

Most discussions begin with the question, “How can you be an entrepreneur?” and “What must you do to be a successful entrepreneur?” But the first question to be addressed is “Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?” Do you really want to be an entrepreneur? Is this the first question that each and everyone should ask before thinking about starting any business venture? This is the moot question. And yes, first of all you would have to understand who is an entrepreneur. What is entrepreneurship itself?

The word entrepreneur comes from Latin. Pay in; pre-before; neural center. Taking its derivation, we could understand the entrepreneur as someone who enters the nerve center of a business that no one entered before and then makes changes that result in a paradigm shift in the entire process. An entrepreneur is one who is willing to take risks in any company. Entrepreneurship is the art of finding an opportunity and then chasing it to success. As the saying goes, “brilliant people also see the same things as others, but they observe things that others do not.” The same goes for entrepreneurs. They come up with ideas that others don’t think of and that is why they are successful.

Another term that has gained a lot of popularity in recent times is that of techno-entrepreneur. Well, a techno-entrepreneur could be understood as an entrepreneur in a technology-related business. In general, a techno-entrepreneur is generally considered to have some kind of patentable and patented intellectual property rights that he markets and profits from. Techno-entrepreneurship is a term that is generally used for software companies.

Now let’s talk about our previous question. Why Entrepreneurship? Why are you thinking of being an entrepreneur? Do you really want to be an entrepreneur or is there some kind of compulsion to be an entrepreneur? Is it because you don’t have a job or are you currently out of work? There are many who enter the field because that is what their father and their ancestors have been doing. Well, after all, it is your family business. And there is another category that interests me the most. It is one in which people affirm that they want to be entrepreneurs for the simple reason that they want to be entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is in his blood.

It is you who must ask yourself. Why do you want to be an entrepreneur? I would like to tell you one thing. Entrepreneurship can really be very rewarding, but this is a big but, it is very risky and not easy. Until and unless you are ready to fight to the end, the chances of success are very limited. If you are fed up with your daily office routine and want to try your hands on entrepreneurship, let me tell you that the time you would have to dedicate to your own company would be much greater. The effort that you would have to make would be much greater than what you have been doing. There has never been a shortcut to success and there never will be. But yes, when you really succeed, the rewards outweigh it all.

The avenues open are many, but you would have to make the right decisions. The present time offers you opportunities where you can earn money and make a mark for yourself without investing too much capital. Yes, we are in the era of “MiniPreneurs” where anyone and everyone can start their own business.
