There are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained while on holiday in Alcudia. First of all, there are the beautiful beaches where they can play, build sand castles and swim in the safe waters; friendly pubs to stop for a bite to eat for lunch; the amusement park El Laberinto Maze and the Hidropark. In Alcudia, if you feel like spending the day, check out the El Laberinto Maze amusement park. It’s a specially designed maze for kids and families, made of wooden panels so its layout can be changed, and it’s more than a place to get lost or escape, there are games to play in it like a memory game like you have to remember the images you’ve seen while trying to get out. There are also all kinds of other fun obstacles, a water monster that squirts you if you’re not fast enough, and pirates of the Mediterranean to help you chase the monsters away. It is open from May to October. Another place to take the kids for the day is the Hidropark, which has a variety of slides and slides of different designs and for different ages, as well as pools to enjoy and offers great family entertainment. Another activity available in the area is the Racing Passion Karting center which is the biggest and fastest track in Alcudia and is run by a former formula one promoter.
In Puerto del Carmen there are many water sports that children can have fun with. Kitesurfing is a great sport and on holiday here you will be able to find great places to try it out as well as book some lessons for your kids. Underwater life is also very interesting, so you can take your child scuba diving to explore the ocean while visiting the beach. Although you wouldn’t traditionally think of Barcelona as a place to take the kids, there are plenty of things to keep the little ones busy. The Zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals of 400 different species. Port Aventura is a fantastic theme park, perfect for a family day trip. It has attractions suitable for young children, as well as the terrifying Dragon Khan roller coaster for older children (it is the largest roller coaster in Europe). Universal Studio’s theme park is divided into five geographic themes: the Wild West, China, Polynesia, Mexico and the Mediterranean. The Activ Natura adventure park is an outdoor park that allows children to swing on ropes and balance on nets and bridges as they make their way through the forest. Other activities here include quad biking, mountain biking, rope climbing, archery and horse riding.
