Sachin Tendulkar Hair Raising Story

Sachin Tendulkar looks different these days. And no, I’m not talking about a change in his hitting style, or a drastic change in mood reflected on his face, no! Actually I mean his hairstyle. Yes, while Rahul Dravid is making headlines these days with the news of his retirement, another great cricket legend paints the columns of the heart red with his striking new haircut. Sachin always flaunted his characteristic bouncy curls that coexisted peacefully with his youthful charm. Imagining a Sachin without those curls is like imagining a Ronaldinho who had braces as a child. He has straightened his locks and slicked back, leaving a few strands caressing his forehead and swaying in the wind.

This fancy new hairstyle that appeared during the Wimbledon match between Serena Williams and Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova is apparently getting praise from so-called hairstyle fans, who I think are grateful that Sachin has finally decided to break the monotony of his hair and style and do something completely different. It must be recognized that the transformation is the result of some really great hair products and is in no way associated with hair transplantation, hair weaving, or hair extension related procedures.

People strive to appreciate and praise the profile of Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin’s fans have even gone so far as to sport a similar hairstyle while cheering on his ‘Little Master’. “He looks younger,” they said. “He looks smooth and stylish,” they joked. Well, he just goes to show that Sachin’s fans would follow him to the end of the world, if need be. Since the hairstyle has very little effect on Sachin Tendulkar’s stats, he can shave his head to shine like a polished marble and still hit a six that will leave you mesmerized.

When asked why he went for a more metro-sexual look, Sachin, God bless his soul, confessed that he was going for a hairstyle that would make him look younger but, unfortunately or fortunately, it didn’t turn out the way he planned. He adds that he had experimented with makeovers in the past (read a French beard he sported a while back) and while this might have been a bit drastic, it’s his decision and he doesn’t regret his decision. Well said Mr Sachin; it is in fact your life, your hair and your fantasy. Sadly, Sachin Tendulkar’s cartoons will never be the same.
