Falling romantically in love with a friend is something that happens in most cases. It can be deliriously exciting or a nightmare. Trust me, because I know how it feels. When you’ve been really good friends with both of you for a long time and then all of a sudden like this, you realize that you’re always thinking about him, feeling awkward, and acting strange when he’s around, you’ll know things have changed.
So what happened and what changed? Your feelings, stupid! You are falling in love with the boy and you don’t know what to do. More than anything, you are afraid that he will not return your feelings. Things will not be easy for you, my friend. Act sensibly and hopefully you will find that he feels the same way about you.
However, don’t just depend on luck, if your friend has always treated you like another of his casual friends and has no idea how you feel; a difficult moment awaits you. Take it easy and don’t rush your fences or you will ruin the whole plan. These are my tactics and they have worked for me. Others may have different ways of doing it.
• Never tell your friend right away that you have feelings for him because if he doesn’t think of you that way, it will shock him and he might start avoiding you. Once you’ve burned your ship, you won’t be able to do anything.
• Be a true friend to him. Listen when you speak; even if it’s other girls. Laugh with him when he’s happy and show your concern when he’s in trouble.
• Be the first to offer help when you need it. Show how worried you are and let him know that you will be by his side no matter what.
• Look attractive when you are with him. Let me see you in a different light; as a desirable woman and not as a member of the gang.
• Surprise him with an intelligent conversation and learn about his interests in life (even if it is boring).
• Be prepared to accompany him to a soccer game or car show, even if he prefers to be in a movie, alone with him. Never scold him.
• In short, be indispensable to him.
• When you have it eating out of your hand, it begins to act in an elusive and mysterious way. If you’ve been calling, don’t call; wait for me to call you. Whenever you go somewhere with him, tell him that you have an appointment, but don’t tell him with whom. Ask yourself.
When you get to this stage, he will definitely feel your absence and will worry that he has taken you for granted. He will start to wonder if you have found a boyfriend or if you are slowly walking away from him. That will scare him to hell and make him come running to you to tell you that he can’t do without you. Believe me, it always works.
