I hear many FarmVille players complain that other farmers use a special program to snatch prizes from the news before other players have a fair chance to claim them.
I will not mention any of the so-called programs by name, that would only be giving them free publicity and I do not want to contribute to the problem.
There is a simple solution for this problem, just remove them from your friends list. Don’t worry about hurting their feelings and don’t waste your time explaining why you are no longer their neighbor. They will replace you with another player. They know where to find more players, they are a penny a dozen if you know where to look.
There is another way that will allow you to go unnoticed by the cheater and you will get the satisfaction of beating them at their own game. On Facebook, you can “create a list”. Create your own FarmVille player roster. You can also apply this to any other game played through Facebook.
Instead of posting game rewards just to everyone or friends, use the customization feature, select Specific People, and choose the “FarmVille Players” list you created the post for. You control who is on the list and, more importantly, who is not. You can know who is alone for the free ride. The ones who never send gifts or fertilize your farm.
If you discover that someone on your FarmVille list is a cheater, simply remove their name from your FarmVille player list and you will no longer receive any of your FarmVille listings. You can still be his friend and neighbor. They will never know that it has been banned by you because they never see or pay attention to who posted the bonus.
This will protect your FarmVille posts, so your honest neighbors can get them.
If you play FarmVille a lot, like I do, you can set your “FarmVille players” list as the default list for posting. So you don’t have to change it every time you post. Just remember to change it when you want to post photos from your vacation!
