How to make money on your list




This month we are going to begin a four month series on how to build your own business using a lead magnet, a squeeze page, and Facebook.

First, we’ll start with creating the perfect leads that will target your audience and get them signed up to your list.

Then we’ll cover exactly how to create a zip page or landing page that makes visitors say, “YES! Add me to your list NOW!”

In our third installment, we’ll cover how to get as much traffic as you want from Facebook.

Once you have learned all three skills, you will be able to enter literally any market and create a list building machine in just a few days.

Better yet, you can go one step further and build a full product funnel behind your lead magnet, offering a tripwire offer (low ticket), followed by your main offer, followed by an expensive item.

In fact, we’ll cover all of that in month 4 of this series.

First, we better reveal what a lead magnet is. Do you know those free gifts you get for subscribing to a list? They are lead magnets.

They are something that is offered as a gift or incentive in exchange for an email address. And they are the easiest and fastest way to build a target subscriber list.

Remember this: the goal of any lead magnet is to convert traffic into leads.

While it is true that you can put almost anything together and call it a lead magnet, it is also true that the better (and more targeted) the lead magnet is, the easier it will be to build a profitable list.

A lead magnet does not generate money on its own. However, working as front-line ambassadors can be extremely lucrative.

As you know, there are three ways to grow a business:

Increase the number of clients.

Increase the average transaction value per customer.

Increase the number of transactions per customer.

With the right lead magnet, you can increase the number of prospects and customers joining your list.

And with a well-targeted niche, you can also increase the average transaction value, and even the number of transactions per customer, by attracting the best customers for your particular business.

As you progress through the following sections, always think of your leads as an irresistible bribe that will deliver real value to your prospects.

Your leads have to be so good that your prospects will ‘buy’ it with their email address.

It must be relevant to your niche and your offerings.

It must be ultra-specific in what it gives the user.

It should be priceless, as the potential customer cannot easily Google the information and find it on their own, or even buy it elsewhere.

And it should be easily consumed, because you want the potential customer to consume it immediately after downloading it.

We’ll go over each of these in a moment.

The point to remember now is this: Your lead magnet is perhaps the most important piece in your entire marketing system.

The right leads will bring you an endless stream of new prospects and future customers.

Bad leads will bring in wrong leads for your offers or no leads.
