Dark Age of Camelot Power Levels Guide

Starting a new character in DAoC has never been easier with all these new expansions. It’s much easier to level a pet-friendly class with a heal-over-time bot than it is to level any other character. For Midgard, you would use a specified spirit master to summon, for Hibernia you can use an enchanter, and for Albion, a necromancer. These pets can take down far more mobs than the average toon. With a heal over time bot or a buff bot, they can take out 5-10 mobs at a time. Note that it’s much faster if you leveled a power level bot and a perk bot and then leveled your main rvr toons afterwards.

With a buffed summon pet, you can take down 5-10 yellow mobs with a few heals or heals over time. If your pet is master level 9, you can take down even more. I’ve done about 30-40 yellow rip mobs with a heal over time. The ideal place is the level at the passage of the conflict dungeons or tasks. I prefer Passage of conflict because of the respect stones that drop along with decent loot from rog. The conflict passage also grants much higher experience points than the average zones and task dungeons.

You can do about 10 flat levels of a new character from 1 to 50. If respectable stones drop, you can probably sell them for an extra 1 or 2 floors. I usually get around 5 when leveling a character from 1 to 50. I usually stop leveling at level 47, at which you can then get the free level to 48. After you hit level 48, I prefer to seek the rest of the experience. . Starting at 48 you can do the necklace quest where you should be able to get 48 and a half. After reaching 48.5, you can do the commander missions in your capital cities. That should be able to get you to 49.5 and it only takes about 1 hour to complete all of them.

Starting at 49.5 I would start joining raids for mastery levels or artifact credits. You can even start dreaming too. Getting to 50 should be easy considering you have so many other things to do. Personally, I’d just go out to rvr, collect reward points, and buy whatever credits I need, which are usually master level credits and artifact credits. Keep in mind that it takes about 60 hours of playtime to reach 50, but a pet summoning class takes about 24 hours. Having an additional class, like a summoning class, can help with farming and items. Good luck and enjoy.
