I have learned over time that money is a force with which every man or woman born on this planet has to be content and overcome its power. Money obeys you and serves you as king the moment you outgrow its power, and you are in charge.
The subject of money is very delicate and complicated. It can cause misunderstanding, confusion, mistrust, and hatred among colleagues, siblings, business associates, friends, family members, even Church people. People are excited to hear you talk about successful living, business progress, building wealth, breakthroughs, etc., but they wouldn’t like to hear you touch their money.
The Holy Bible says that money answers all things, so without money no project can be carried out, but with it you can establish and grow your business into an empire, get a good education, train your children, take care of your needs. , build mansions, marry the woman of your choice, build churches or mosques and live a very rich life. Why should the topic of money elicit negative responses from people, as if you’ve hit a major nerve?
I used to think that it was only in church or other religious gatherings that people took it as a taboo, talking about money, because they never wanted to part with a penny, but I have come to understand that it is offensive. Today it is almost irrelevant to tell people that they need money, however little, to make more money.
I must not forget that certain excesses on the part of some so-called businessmen and women in the past have been responsible for this problem. Indeed, people have been abused, cheated, cheated and extorted in the name of doing business, but this is not the only reason people are hostile when money is mentioned, even when it is for their own good. At the head and tail of all these problems is power. Money has power, influence and is possessive on all fronts. When you are captive to the power of money, you become anything but irresponsible. Your money depends on you, and therefore many people are afraid or reluctant to talk about or broach the subject of money.
As a person, money has a way of revealing your true nature. A close look at your relationship with money will quickly and easily reveal your past, present, and future life. The Holy Bible has warned us and continually warns us that the love of money is the root of all evil. You have a love for money and that has robbed you of your sense of good reasoning. There are many ways to find out if you are attracted to the possessive power of money.
1. Your family: Whenever you are in charge or in control of your life, you are quick to tell your family directly. The activities that take place in your family testify for or against your current lifestyle. For most people, their wives are the most affected. They show no consideration, but they pay almost all attention to their money. The upbringing of children quickly becomes the responsibility of the mother. When the power of money is in control, it doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor; the goal is to bend you to serve money instead of serving you as it should be.
2. Your general demeanor: Your general lifestyle changes abruptly at the very moment your monthly takes over. You can hardly think clearly and you behave strangely with your colleagues, workers or relatives, creating the impression that your presence is not important because it is a distraction for you. You waste all your time destroying every genuine human relationship to build a new one based on money and what money can buy.
3. Your Community Life – The community begins to fear and give you unfounded respect, honoring you and praising your name to the heavens, just to get a little money out of your stingy hand. You appear to be an authority, but everyone knows where you belong.
4. Your personal business: You have just discovered that when the power of money is in action and you have been possessed by it, your attitude at work changes. The welfare of your staff, which you never joked with before, now becomes an issue for you. Paying your workers wages becomes a real bargain, because you have to start a dispute before anything is done. Before, you took your customers like kings, but this time they are money-making objects, who must sneeze every last coin before they can leave your presence.
5. The Government – The government suffers a great loss, because someone like you is breathing and eating. You want a good business environment, but you need to avoid paying your taxes and fees to the government purse. Your interest lies in saving all the money for selfish use.
Although we can’t do without money, but being controlled by the power of money is not okay. Money is very important, but not the most important thing you need on earth. Money does not buy life, nor does it buy wisdom. Wisdom tells us that our life is much bigger than money, although both are intertwined. Your life is your money because it is the most tangible, physical and quantifiable measure of your life that you put into practice.
As an entrepreneur, you are exchanging your life for a certain amount of money. The time you put in, your talent, skill, energy, and creativity all tell you who you are, and you trade them for a certain amount of money. If you don’t put the best of your time into your work, you will never be able to achieve your best performance. You only get to that level when your creativity is at its optimum point. That is why you cannot easily separate yourself from money, because it is the very answer to all the problems of life.
So what? Should we be slaves to money to overcome inertia? No way. You are in charge and can control the money, cage its power and rule your world. For the simple fact that we live in a world that only pays attention to those who control money, we give our time, talent, ability, energy and creativity, which are a part of our lives in exchange for money. The money we hold in our hands is just a tangible expression of our life: who we really are and what we have put to work.
Understanding this fact clearly will help us see money as our slave, and not the other way around. If I can work to win you, then you belong to me and you must be my servant. The ignorant of this simple fact is responsible for the unnecessary enslavement of people by the object called money. The devil knows that the moment he enslaves you with the power of money, whether in riches or in poverty, you will hardly be useful in life. So, it is time to rise up and tear down this satanic bastion of resistance against your progress in life, and take up the mantle of leadership, dominance, and power that is yours.
