Buttock Hydrogel Injections: What to Expect After the Procedure

These are typical instructions that follow the procedure. Check with your doctor to make sure these apply to you. Even though plastic surgery costs for hydrogel butt injections are much less than implants, it is still an investment and needs to be taken good care of. Hopefully literally!

  • After the application of Hydrogel, the area will appear red and swollen for approximately 48 hours, also due to the strong massage that is carried out so that the product spreads evenly under the skin. Some areas may appear larger than others, but will level out in approximately two weeks.
  • There may be a little separation of the Hydrogel after it is applied to the body area. It will subsidize after the first 48 hours.
  • The patient may feel some pain in the area of the body, similar to muscle pain after a lot of exercise, and there may be a slight increase in body temperature.
  • The swelling of the injected area will subside after approximately 48 hours. That is why the retouching with Hydrogel will be carried out after two days, to see where the necessary corrections must be made.
  • Expect some reduction in volume, size and projection after the first treatment, this is absolutely normal and to be expected.
  • The final results will be seen after approximately one month, when the Hydrogel will be completely encapsulated.
  • Stretch marks may appear due to the rapid increase in size with hydrogel implants

The final size and shape depends on the volume your buttocks had before the procedure and the amount of hydrogel injected. If your skin is elastic, or there is excess skin, more Hydrogel can be injected. However, if your skin is inelastic and very tight, this will reduce the amount of hydrogel that can be injected.

INSTRUCTIONS: HYDROGEL
