You can’t chase a dream if you don’t have one

As we dream, a natural process awakens as “The Law of Attraction” begins to unfold. This attraction stimulates the imagination fueling the desire when the chase begins. As excitement builds, the subconscious takes over and continues to attract whatever is necessary to bring you closer to your dreams.

Case in point: Have you ever started thinking about a friend, when suddenly the phone rings and there she is … or maybe you meet her at the mall?
Have you ever bought a car that you thought was so unique only to see it go down the road every time you look at it? Your subconscious mind is automatically drawn to whatever is relevant to your most dominant thought.

I promise you … if you start to follow one or two dreams, the universe will cooperate to give you what you need when needed. How many times have you been in a situation where you have received exactly what was required at the precise time it was needed? We’ve all used the phrase “just what the doctor ordered.”

Some dreams fade for one reason or another, but that’s not the point. What’s important to remember is that the process is the same … it starts with a dream. If the dream is worth pursuing, the attraction will perpetuate as the doors of opportunity begin to open. Your job is to start running through them.

The sad truth is that many believe that they are too busy or too sophisticated to dream, or they feel that it should be relegated to children. It is true that children have no problem dreaming … dreaming big! They dream of what they want to be when they grow up and they don’t dream of working at McDonalds. They dream of becoming movie stars and athletes, firefighters and astronauts … whatever. The list goes on and on. Those children who grow up to become their dreams never forgot the process of keeping those dreams alive.

No matter who or how old you are, you have not lost the ability to dream. What the heck … start acting a bit like a kid and let your imagination run wild. Take the long way home. Get up an hour earlier with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. Take some time to play with your kids on their level, or take a walk in the park, and in no time, you won’t be ashamed to dream one more time. Who knows where it will lead … Let the chase begin!
